Civil engineering for wastewater treatment
1 May 2016 - New contracts - France
Soletanche Bachy France (VINCI Construction), as part of a consortium, has won the contract to design, build, operate and maintain the future wastewater treatment plant (capacity: 159,300 population equivalent) in Cagnes-sur-Mer (south of France).
The company will first of all build a stormwater tank, i.e. a shaft with a diaphragm wall, 15 m in diameter and 35 m in depth, on the site of the existing plant. And on the site of the new plant, it will build two digesters with an external diameter of 17 m in difficult ground conditions (sandy soil saturated in groundwater). The works will start in the last quarter of 2016.
