Chair renewed
1 March 2014 - Sustainability - France
March 2014 saw VINCI and ParisTech renewing, for a further 5 years and with funding of 4 million euros, a partnership begun in 2008, in the form of an innovative sponsorship of three French graduate schools of engineering (Mines ParisTech, École des Ponts ParisTech and AgroParisTech), to focus on the eco-design of buildings and infrastructure. The partnership led to the creation of a Chair that has generated new concepts and tools for use in eco-urban and biodiversity planning. VINCI’s subsidiaries provided a testing ground, offering pilot sites for experiments and welcoming researchers and interns.
