Building a research centre in Poland

Warbud (VINCI Construction) and the Agricultural University of Kraków have signed a design-build contract for an innovation and research centre focused on food safety and health.

This 3,100 sq. metres project will include a series of rooms fitted with up-to-the-minute research equipment, and several microbiology and testing labs. This complex will work with the country’s food-processing industry, producing studies and fine-tuning solutions to upgrade the quality of food packaging and storage systems, and to manage waste at the end of the chain. The university’s staff and students will be able to start working in this centre in the autumn of 2022.
