Bridge over the Wouri

Sogea-Satom (VINCI Construction), leader, in a joint venture with Soletanche Bachy (Soletanche Freyssinet), Dodin Campenon Bernard (VINCI Construction) and Sogea TPI (VINCI Construction France) is to build the second bridge over the Wouri River, at Douala. This 760 m-long, slightly curving structure, serving as both a road and a railway bridge, will relieve congestion on the existing bridge. The road deck will provide five traffic lanes and two pavements. The railway bridge will carry two railway tracks. Project value: €129m. Duration of the works: 44 months.
