Beautiful Steps

On 25 March 2013, Beautiful Steps, an artwork by Sabina Lang and Daniel Baumann forming part of the Public Art on the Banks of the SaÙne project, was put in position in RochetaillÈe-sur-SaÙne (central France). As part of a skills-based sponsorship operation, Pitance and CBR TP (VINCI Construction France) were charged with the technical design and manufacture of this work and its installation on the Promenade des Guinguettes. The work, a stairway cantilevered above the riverbank, is made of ultra-high performance fibre-reinforced concrete (UHPFRC), with stainless steel handrails.
