Around the station in Cannes

As part of the creation of a multi-modal transport hub around the train station in Cannes (south of France), Gares & Connexions (SNCF) has appointed VINCI Immobilier to develop a 4-star hotel, and a centre housing shops, services and restaurants (illustrated above). With a surface area of 4,900 sq. metres, the hotel will provide 125 rooms, and a "Club" area offering a wide range of facilities. It will be operated by Okko, a new chain of citycentre hotels. The shopping/ services/restaurants centre, extending over a surface area of 2,400 sq. metres, will feature both shops and supermarkets. Both these new developments will be handed over in the second half of 2014.
