Approval for Mesea’s innovative vehicles

Mesea, a subsidiary of VINCI Railways (VINCI Concessions), has gained the approval of the SNCF for its road-rail lorries and modules.

These innovative vehicles, quite different from those traditionally used (traditional rail vehicles for track or catenary maintenance works), can be driven both on the tracks and on roads and thus, while occupying the railway line itself as little as possible, bring logistical support (crane, work platforms, workshop…) as close as possible to the worksite. They required the approval of the SNCF in order to be used by Mesea within a regulatory framework.
