Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport is now certified ACA 3+ ‘carbon neutral’, i.e. the most advanced level of the programme for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions set up by the ACI (Airports Council International).

This accreditation programme assesses the efforts made by airports to manage and reduce their CO2 emissions, with four levels of recognition: mapping, reduction, optimisation and neutrality. Level 3+ is obtained when carbon neutrality is reached.

This certification marks a new stage in VINCI Airports’ commitment to obtaining and maintaining ACA accreditation for all airports in its network.

Within the framework of VINCI Airports’ global environmental strategy, called AirPact, all its airports in France, Portugal, Cambodia and Japan have ACA Level 1 certification or better, and are engaged in a process of continuous improvement in order to reduce their carbon impact.
