Access for a gas terminal

Eurovia STR Dunkerque and Sogea Caroni (VINCI Construction France) are to build the main access routes into the future gas terminal in Dunkirk (north of France). The works involve 45,000 cu. metres of earthworks, 60,000 sq. metres of surfacing of roadways and parking areas, 4,000 cu. metres of construction concrete, 200,000 lm of ducts and pipes, 30,000 t of materials recycled for the sub-base layer and roadway foundations, and 12,000 t of mix. Worth €14.6m, the works start in March 2013. At the same site, Entrepose Contracting (VINCI Construction) is currently building the three liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tanks.
