A light asphalt for town centres

Following preparatory work undertaken together with Citeos (VINCI Energies), the urban lighting and equipment specialist, Eurovia Quimper has applied the newly developed light-coloured asphalt “Viaphone lumineux” for the first time, at an experimental site in Ergué-Gaberic (Brittany). Specially designed for use in town centres, this new asphalt, which also reduces traffic noise, is made of light-coloured, hydroblasted materials, meaning street lighting can be less bright, resulting in energy savings.
