A 2.9 km bypass

In the east of the country, Eurovia CS is creating a 2.9 km-long bypass that, as of late September 2014, will enable an extremely busy road to avoid the villages of Zvole and Vlachov. The project called for the moving of the bed of a water course, the installation of a drainage network and road signs, and landscaping works. Having completed the roadway, the teams are now working on the ‘finishing touches’ – reinforcement of the verges, construction of noise-abating walls and embankments – and creating a 300 m-long retaining wall.
Contract value: about €31.5m.
