2x2 lanes for the RD119

Teams from Eurovia Alpes Grenoble, in a joint venture with Eurovia GPI, supplied the pavement works on the project to provide 2x2 lanes on the RD119, known as the “Axe de Bièvre”, on a 15 km-long stretch between Grenoble and Saint-Étienne-de-Saint-Geoirs Airport. Undertaken on behalf of the General Council of the Isère department, the works were carried out between September 2012 and May 2013. Signature (Eurovia) created the extruded-concrete carriageway dividers and other safety features. And SMAG and the Creuzeval quarry (Eurovia) supplied the aggregate for the mix and the site for the installation of the mobile asphalt-mixing plant. The Eurovia Alpes Grenoble-Eurovia GPI joint venture carried out all the preparatory works and applied the mix. Total contract value: €5.3m.
