25 km of cycling route in north-east France

The General Council of the Marne department has appointed Eurovia Reims to create the first 25 kilometres of the Marne Valley “cycling route” between Condé-sur-Marne and Cumières, on the major European route Paris-Strasbourg-Prague. Begun in late January 2014 and due to take 10 months, the works comprise the construction of the tracks and a 38 m-long aluminium foot-bridge. The main challenge on this project is the lack of access routes.
Contract value: €6m (including the conditional tranches).
