Industrial processes account for two-thirds of the energy consumed by manufacturing plants. To help its clients cut their energy consumption, Actemium (VINCI Energies) has developed a comprehensive energy audit service.
Actemium looks at the entire production system – from raw material input to product output – calculates the minimum energy requirement and compares this figure with the actual amount consumed by the site. It then draws up an action plan to cut energy consumption to a minimum.
To develop advanced energy audit methodologies, Actemium works with the PS2E (Paris-Saclay Efficacité Énergétique) research institute, which brings together organisations from both the public and private sectors.
