Linda Lennon CBE(1) was appointed Chief Executive Officer of London Stadium 185, a subsidiary of VINCI Stadium in charge of the management of the Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London. She will occupy her new role from 3 August 2015.
Previously, Linda Lennon CBE has had a long career in the British Ministry of Justice. In 2003 she took charge of the management of the London Civil and Family Courts, before being appointed as Chief Executive Officer of The Parole Board in 2009.
In March 2012 Linda Lennon CBE was appointed Chief Executive Officer of The Royal Parks Agency. Responsible for the strategic direction, she manages a team of 120 people within the agency responsible for the conservation and improvement of eight royal parks for the benefit of millions of visitors. Linda Lennon in particular had to implement innovative ways to generate new revenue to deal with the reduction of the subsidy granted by the government. During her first year as Chief Executive, The Royal Parks hosted the jubilee celebrations to mark the sixtieth anniversary of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II and eleven events of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London. Linda also signed a new contract for the programming of a series of major concerts in Hyde Park.
London Stadium 185
VINCI Stadium’s subsidiary, London Stadium 185 will operate and maintain for a period of 25 years, the Stadium of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The operating company was named London Stadium 185, in honour of the 185 Olympic and Paralympic medals won at 2012 games by British Athletes. London Stadium 185 will draw on the expertise and local anchor of VINCI Facilities UK for maintenance tasks and on the expertise of Delaware North to handle catering. The mission of London Stadium 185, beyond the sport, is to ensure its commercial development through additional programming generating ancillary revenues, corporate events and marketing partnerships especially with digital tools. Throughout the year, London Stadium 185 will work, in collaboration with its stakeholders and residents, to turn the former Olympic Stadium into a permanent place of activity, thereby contributing to economic and social development of east London.

About The Stadium
The former Olympic Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is being transformed into a year round multi-use venue that will deliver a lasting sporting, cultural and community legacy in east London. Transformation work includes installing the largest roof of its kind in the world, a community track, innovative retractable seating, spectator and hospitality facilities and external landscaping.
The Stadium will reopen temporarily for five matches of the Rugby World Cup in 2015, before opening permanently as the new home of West Ham United Football Club and national competition centre for UK Athletics in 2016.
