Another milestone on the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link project
07/11/2024 - News update - DenmarkThe Femern Link Contractors (FLC) consortium, led by VINCI Construction Grands Projets, has cleared another key milestone in the construction of the world’s longest immersed tunnel, between Denmark and Germany: the first of the 10 special elements (which weigh 24,000 tonnes each and were cast on land) has now reached the upper basin of the Work Harbour.
